Daniel Rush
Dan joined Healthnetwork Foundation in 2023. Prior to his arrival, he built a career in healthcare, working as a critical care RN and as a patient advocate in his role as an RN case manager. He has held key roles in hospital systems and nonprofit organizations, where he streamlined patient services and enhanced donor-supported care initiatives. Dan brings over a decade of experience in healthcare strategy and development. His commitment to improving access to top-tier medical care and his passion for building meaningful relationships led him to Healthnetwork.
A native of the Greater Cleveland area, Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Ursuline College. Before entering the healthcare field, he honed his skills as a journalist with a major network news agency in Atlanta, he then transitioned to public and media relations roles in Cleveland, where he raised his two daughters. Outside of work, Dan is an avid sailor, climber, and traveler.
